The United States and United Kingdom signed a sweeping Reindustrialization and Technology Alliance agreement in London, committing both countries to cooperation on advanced manufacturing, semiconductor supply chains, AI safety standards, and critical minerals sourcing. The deal was signed by President Trump and Prime Minister Starmer at 10 Downing Street.

Key provisions include a joint $5 billion fund for quantum computing and nuclear fusion research, harmonized regulations for autonomous vehicles, and mutual preferential tariff treatment on goods produced with domestic labor. Trade officials said combined transatlantic trade is expected to grow from $260 billion to over $400 billion by 2030.

The deal represents a post-Brexit deepening of the special relationship as both nations seek to reduce dependence on Chinese manufacturing and build resilient supply chains for critical technologies of the future.
