The United States military carried out its 11th consecutive night of airstrikes against targets inside Iran, striking aircraft hangars, drone storage facilities, and command infrastructure. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth testified that the ongoing conflict has cost American taxpayers an estimated $37.5 billion to date, including munitions expenditure and operational logistics.

Iran claimed it retaliated by targeting US military installations in Kuwait and Bahrain using long-range drones, though the Pentagon said most were intercepted. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that Washington remains open to negotiations but characterized Tehran as not serious about peace.

Trump signaled that additional strikes on suspected deep underground nuclear sites are under consideration, a move that would mark a significant escalation in the seven-week conflict. Congressional leaders called for a formal War Powers authorization debate.
